Excuse me. We have some problems with our food.
Server :
Could you please tell me what the problems are, sir?
Customer :
Yes. I ordered my steak medium well-done, but this steak is overcooked. Frankly, it’s nearly burnt!
Server :
I’m very sorry. I’ll take it back and ask the chef to prepare another one for you. It’ll be ready in about 20 minutes. What was the other problem, sir?
Customer :
My wife hasn’t gotten her pasta yet. Why is it taking so long?
Server :
I’m terribly sorry, sir. I will check on her order with the kitchen right away.
Customer :
Thanks. Oh, one more thing. Can you give me a new cup? Mine has a stain on the rim.
Server :
Absolutely, sir. I’m really sorry. I will come back with a clean one immediately.
Customer :
Thank you.
[After a while]
Server :
We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience you have had. To compensate, we'd like to give you desserts on the house.
