Nowadays, children’s programs are not just for singing cheerful songs or dancing but also are dedicated to positive changes. One of the most well-known and beloved programs for children, Sesame Street, is designed to teach children basic skills such as counting, reading, and problem-solving, as well as social skills like communicating with others. In addition, Sesame Street helps children learn about cultural and racial differences by presenting diverse characters. Similarly, Korea’s popular programs for children recently introduced new characters. Those characters include people from multicultural backgrounds, characters with physical disabilities, and even a homeless dog.
