This time, I’m going to tell you my good experiences of life in Oaxaca, Mexico. 1. Mountains: What I liked the most about my life in Oaxaca was hiking in the mountains. The mountains surround the city, and they are home to authentic villages, old-style country living, and, of course, extraordinarily beautiful scenery. 2. Concept of Time: The people there tend to be more relaxed and flexible about time than us. For example, people who are invited for a 10 AM event may not begin to arrive until 10:30 AM or later. Initially, it was quite tough for me to adapt myself to a new environment. As time went by, I understood their way of life little by little. Thanks to the month I spent in Oaxaca, I think I’ve gotten more receptive and mature toward the new culture surrounding me. *adapted from https://clairesfootsteps.com/living-in-oaxaca/ Life in Oaxaca, Mexico Posted on 21 April 2028 by Jimin Lee Title Writer Greeting Good experience Cultural differences Reflection Source CULTURAL TASK Have you ever thought about living in a country with a culture quite different from your own?
