Diana : Thank you for speaking with Glory Magazine . Mr. Kéré. Kéré : My pleasure. Diana : What made you have an interest in education? Kéré : As I am an architect, I wanted to build a school for people. Diana : Then, Kéré : When I was young, I had to study in an overcrowded and overheated classroom. Since that time, I’ve wanted to construct a proper school in my community. Diana : You studied abroad, then Kéré : People said it would have been enjoyable to stay there, but I never forget the commitment my people made to me. Without them, I could not have dreamed of being an architect. Diana : It sounds like your community is quite important to you. Kéré : Absolutely. That’s why I am here.
